EMERY POINT IS:
20 minutes from Massaponax.
30 minutes from Fredericksburg.
40 minutes from Richmond.
70 minutes from Charlottesville.
90 minutes from Washington.
1 mile from Lake Anna Dam
1 mile across the lake. (in case you want to swim)
KINGS DOMINION - is just 18 miles southeast of the
      point. For information call 1-888-888-8888
WINERIES - Lake Anna Winery is nine miles from the point and
      is worth the trip. Call the nice folks there to receive
       a tour of their winery.
HISTORIC SITES - The city of Fredericksburg is full of history.
     
SPOTSYLVANIA / MASSAPONAX - Some of the greatest
      battlefields of the civil war are within 45 minutes
       of the point.
NORTH ANNA POWER STATION -Call the North Anna
      Power Station Visitor center for information on tours
      through the facility. Area maps.
      If you plan on boating on Lake Anna you really should have a map of the lake. The lake is 17 miles long and there   are many islands and sometimes shallow areas to avoid.
If you plan on sight-seeing you will should have a map of Spotsylvania County.
