the House
BEDROOMS:
* There
are seven queen size beds and one double bed. Together they will accommodate 16
persons. Several bedrooms are plenty large enough for cots / sleeping bags or a
mattress.
MAIN
FLOOR:
* All of
the four bedrooms on the main floor have master bathrooms, clock radios,
skylights, overhead fans and a view of the water.
* Three of these bedrooms have glass sliding doors that open to the outside
covered deck that wraps around the house.
* Three of these bedrooms have TV / VCR combos.
* There is another full bathroom in the main hallway.
* These bedrooms have one central air systems just for these bedrooms.
LOWER
LEVEL:
All three rooms are carpeted.
* one has one queen size bed,
* one has two queen size beds,
* one has one double bed.
All the rooms have clock radios.
.* There are two bathrooms on this level.
This level has its own heating and a/c system, which is independent from the
other two systems in the house.
KITCHEN
:
Has a large bay
window with a north view of the lake. There are two gas stoves, two ovens, two
crock pots, two toasters, two coffee makers, two can openers, one microwave,
blender, food processor, waffle maker, baking equipment and a lot more. We
believe we have every kind of kitchen utensil possible.
* ample dishes, pots, pans, silverware etc. for large families.
* The two gas stoves have four burners each and are equipped with overheads
fans/light units.
* Kitchen has recessed lighting with dimmer controls, high volume exhaust fan.
* Stereo speakers connected to the main house stereo and has its own volume
control for the kitchen.
* The ovens are double stacked and built into the wall.
DINING ROOM
This room
has hardwood floors, a table that seats 12 - 14 persons and overhead recessed
lights on dimmer switches. There is also a fireplace and lots of pictures of the
lake and the property as it was being built. OK, so I squeezed in a few pictures
of our Shriners Motorcycle Drill team riding our big white Harleys. There are
always some big boys that like looking at these pretty unique shots. A nine ft.
glass sliding door opens on to the covered deck. Here you will find two
reeeeealy long picnic tables that seat 30 persons at the same time. This is also
the B-B-Q area and has two large gas grills. These grills are connected to the
house gas which eliminates the hassle of small propane tanks. There are lights
over the picnic tables as well as over the grill.
GREAT
ROOM
This large
room ( 20 x 32 ) has a giant map of Lake Anna painted on the floor with points
of interest displayed on the map. This room has four sets of glass sliding
doors. Three of the doors open to the covered deck. From these windows and doors
you see lake on all three sides. The fourth door is a 12 ft. slider that
separates this room from the rest of the house. That's in case you want to play
the piano or want to have a quiet time.
Three couches and several chairs make this a great room for relaxation. This
room also has game boards carved right into the thick wooden tables. Dozens of
games and puzzles are kept in the stereo cabinet for your use. The cabinet has a
receiver and a 5 CD disk changer. The stereo has an amplifier which pipes music
to several parts of the house and deck. Each area has it's own volume control.
There are several lighting systems in the great room. One is an overhead eight
bulb light unit. Another choice is the track lighting on each side of the room.
Then there are individual lamps throughout the room.
TV
SITTING ROOM
Has a
large TV (with remote), VCR, satellite receiver, weather station readout
console, fax machine, portable telephone and a video library. This room also has
a skylight, overhead fan/light unit, recessed lights on dimmer switches, couches
and chairs.
We have the Dish Network Satellite service with all the HBO, Cinemax, Stars
movie channels as well as the other couple hundred channels. Pay per view is
blocked.
